The latest movie I watched on cinema: Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. And this is my personal review. It’s a more like movie which is good for a family gathering. Hahahaha (sarcasm). I would say it as another version of Harry Potter installment but a little bit better. And since the movie is adapted from the novel, I also believed that there will be more Percy Jackson series (just like Harry Potter). On the other hand……. nice movie.

The  story goes like this.. suspen la sikit ahaks!

There is a boy who doesn’t know that he is actually a demi-god (half human, half god). Why demi-god?

… kadang-kadang para dewa-dewi  akan turun ke bumi untuk bersetubuh dengan manusia biasa. hahaha.. the gods also got nafsu la, and mana-mana yang kantoi tu dapat la anak macam Percy Jackson…

Which gods we are talking about? The one from Greek mythology, Zeus and the bros.  Ok, back to the story. One day, Zeus (in human form) meeting his brother Poseidon at a building somewhere in USA and telling him that his lightning bolt (Zeus’ powerful weapon) is missing. Zeus accusing Poseidon’s son (Percy Jackson) for the responsibility. Don’t ask why Percy Jackson because everybody who watched the movie would also never know. Zeus then told Poseidon to return back his weapon before a specific deadline or there will be war among the gods.

So then every underworld creature looking for Percy and Percy got in some adventures to go to the Olympians to tell Zeus that he is not the thief. In his adventures, he fight a fury, minotour, medusa, and hydra. Then he met Hades, almost die but got away and eventually found out that the real thief is one his demi-god friend. He then fight his demi-god friend, tunjuk power sana sikit, sini sikit, and finally won the battle.

Kenapa kawan dia tu curi weapon Zeus? Alasan dia kelakar tapi reasonable la jugak. Puncanya Zeus buat 1 MoU where the gods can never berhubungan secara terus dengan anak masing-masing. That means Percy Jackson and the other demi-god tak pernah jumpa dengan dewa-dewi yang jadi mak bapak diorang. So, ada la sorang budak tu yang bengang sebab tak pernah jumpa bapak dia, curi weapon tu supaya dewa-dewi akan berperang sesama sendiri dan menghancurkan diri masing-masing. Ceh.. krisis keluarga rupanya. Kecoh gila.

My rating for this movie ‘B’. Ok la tu…
